Job summary

Jacobs in Belfast is seeking a Career or Senior Civil Engineer to lead design and analysis for industrial projects, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams and clients. You will develop concepts, perform civil design, and communicate requirements for Civil 3D models and drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 10 years of manufacturing project experience.
• Experience in semi-conductor, data center or general industrial facilities is an advantage.
• Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Strong working knowledge in hydrology, site development and grading.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley product suites.

Responsibilities

• Competently performs all conventional aspects of civil engineering and analysis.
• Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in evaluation and criteria adaptation.
• Leads, mentors and reviews work, ensuring quality and compliance with codes.
• Reviews construction documents for accuracy and client standards.
• Manages workload, communicates scope, and forecasts effort for projects.
• Supports multi-office collaboration and occasional TD assignments.
