Job summary

SP Energy Networks in Cambuslang seeks a Senior Civil Design Engineer to develop and deliver civil and structural designs for the transmission network. You will lead earthworks, drainage, foundations, access roads and buildings, producing drawings and documentation across the project lifecycle.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with safety and CDM regulations, review contractor proposals, and promote best-practice BIM and sustainability principles.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Civil/Structural Engineering with relevant experience.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status or working towards.
• Experience delivering civil designs for transmission networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design of transmission infrastructure projects.
• Develop drawings, specs and calculations across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs meet safety, CDM and regulatory standards.
