Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, is hiring a Senior Design Engineer (Civils) in Cambuslang. You will lead civil/structural design across transmission projects, developing specs, calculations and drawings while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will work in a hybrid model with a focus on delivering sustainable, innovative engineering solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering with relevant experience.
• Chartered/Incorporated Engineer status or working towards professional membership.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver civil engineering designs for transmission infrastructure projects.
• Develop engineering specifications, calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs meet legislation, standards and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support development and delivery of project training and knowledge sharing.
