Job summary

Deploy Limited is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join our team, delivering civil infrastructure for high‑voltage projects, including substations and grid connections. You will design, model in Revit and AutoCAD, and ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.

You will manage document control, produce design briefs, and provide lifecycle technical support while coordinating external design resources and performing design reviews to meet scope and legislation.

Qualifications

• Background as a Civil Design Engineer with strong knowledge of Eurocodes and experience using Revit and AutoCAD
• Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
• Driving licence

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering infrastructure for HV renewable energy projects (substations, cables etc), ensuring adherence to industry standards, company code of practice and client requirements
• Be responsible for document control of civil engineering drawings
• Show an understanding of architectural and structural detailing (including concrete reinforcement) and be able to do this using Revit
• Produce design briefs
• Offer technical support across project lifecycle
• Manage external design resource when used, ensuring technical compliance
• Design review to ensure work produced is in line with industry standards, legislation and scope of works
• Financial management of civil engineering portion of projects
