I'm delighted to be partnering with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with a fantastic reputation for delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions across a diverse range of sectors. Due to continued growth and an expanding workload, we're seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their collaborative and highly motivated team based in Hertfordshire.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven engineer looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive environment that actively invests in professional development, including ICE-accredited training towards Chartered status.

The Role:
As a key member of the civil engineering team, you'll play an integral role in delivering projects from inception through to construction across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Site appraisals, feasibility assessments, and pre-planning technical reports (Flood Risk, Drainage, Utilities)




• Highways and drainage design (including S38, S278, S104 agreements)




• Preparation of detailed designs and tender/construction information




• Supporting planning applications and discharging planning conditions




• Road and sewer adoptions, SuDS design, earthworks modelling




• Client liaison, representation at meetings, and contract management

About You:
We're looking for a proactive engineer with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience within a civil engineering design consultancy environment. You'll need to demonstrate:

• Strong technical design skills across highways and drainage




• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities




• Confidence in representing the company at meetings with clients and stakeholders




• A collaborative approach with good commercial awareness
