My client, a leading Tier 1 main contractor delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects, is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer on a freelance basis. This role involves working on the design and delivery of water treatment works, covering clean water and wastewater schemes as part of the ongoing AMP7 and AMP8 investment cycles.
As a key member of the design team, you will take technical ownership of civil engineering designs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including process, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers. You will be responsible for ensuring designs meet all technical, safety, and regulatory requirements while supporting project delivery from concept through to construction.
This is a contract opportunity, offering the flexibility of remote working, with occasional travel to project sites and client meetings as required.
