Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead design delivery on a water infrastructure framework in and around London. Based in Guildford, you will oversee projects from concept through construction, collaborating with a forward-thinking design team.

You will coordinate drainage and civil designs to UK water standards, manage internal teams and external consultants, and mentor junior engineers while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer, ideally Chartered or working towards chartership.
• Experience in UK water sector drainage design and infrastructure.
• Proficiency with MicroDrainage, AutoCAD and Civils3D.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Salary: £46,000-£56,000k plus excellent benefits package. Ref: MAR240 A leading regional civil engineering and utilities services company is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead design delivery on a key water infrastructure framework in and around London. You will oversee a range of projects from early concept through to construction support, working within a collaborative and forward-thinking design team.

• Ensure quality assurance, client satisfaction, and adherence to health & safety standards

Requirements

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer (chartered or working towards chartership preferred)
• Strong experience in drainage design and infrastructure projects within the UK water sector
• Proficient in design software (e.g., MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, Civils3D)
• Full UK driving licence required
