Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is looking for a Senior Civil Design Engineer - Water in Manchester. You will produce civil design deliverables, develop efficient solutions from scopes and site visits, and lead technical assessments while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years in UK regulated water projects, hydraulic calculations experience, and professional body registration with chartership pursued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' civil design experience within the UK regulated water industry.
• Experience producing hydraulic calculations and hydraulic profiles.
• HND, degree or equivalent experience from technician level.
• Registered with a professional body and working toward chartership.
• Strong technical capability, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience across clean water, wastewater and infrastructure projects (desirable).
• Chartered Engineer status (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).

Senior Civil Design Engineer - Water

Location: Manchester (Office-based / Hybrid with site visits) Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE + Pension Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Office based with hybrid flexibility

Key Responsibilities

• Produce civil engineering design deliverables that meet safety, quality and technical standards


• Develop efficient design solutions from scopes and site visits


• Prepare calculations, reports, specifications and design risk assessments


• Direct and support CAD technicians, graduates and junior engineers


• Ensure compliance with water company, industry and professional standards
