Job summary

Rullion Managed Services is seeking a Construction Delivery Manager (Civils) for Hinkley Point C, Somerset. On-site, you will own day-to-day civil delivery within your section of works, coordinating Tier 1 contractors, logistics, and project controls to meet programme and quality targets.

You’ll need proven delivery experience in high-hazard or regulated environments, a solid grasp of CDM, and the ability to produce clear reports for senior stakeholders while maintaining calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-hazard or regulated environments (nuclear, pharma, petrochemicals, chemicals, water, or major infrastructure).
• Proven ability to deliver complex civils works on live sites.
• Ability to produce clear, meaningful reports for senior stakeholders.
• Calm under pressure and accountable for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support Tier 1 and service contract partners in the safe and efficient delivery of civil works packages.
• Oversee on-site activities, sequencing, and short-term planning to maintain programme momentum.
• Identify safety, quality, or delivery risks and recommend pragmatic temporary measures to avoid disruption.
• Monitor progress on site and produce clear, concise daily and escalation reports.
• Coordinate closely with logistics, H&S, commercial, and project controls teams to ensure aligned delivery.
• Attend and contribute to PLOD / PLOW meetings, ensuring actions and outputs are captured and driven.
• Carry out safety and assurance inspections in line with project KPIs and HSPI requirements.
• Maintain strong two-way communication with senior site leadership.
• Work shifts aligned to Tier 1 contractor patterns where required.
