Job summary

Hinkley Point C in Somerset is seeking a Construction Delivery Manager to oversee site construction activities within the Nuclear Island and Balance of Plant. Reporting to the Senior Construction Delivery Manager, you will coordinate multi-contractor interfaces, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to CDM Regulations and safety standards.

You will work with Tier 1 partners, conduct inspections, support schedule recovery, and contribute to daily reporting with a focus on quality, risk

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in civil/ME/EE engineering or construction management.
• Formal safety qualifications (SMSTS or IOSH) per role requirements.
• Proven experience managing complex engineering/construction sequencing.
• Solid understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and statutory duties.
• Ability to produce clear technical/progress reports for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site construction activities and multi-contractor interfaces.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety, and schedule adherence on site.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align logistics and plans.
• Attend key partner meetings and capture outputs for leadership.
• Conduct routine safety and assurance inspections under HP Grid/CDM rules.
