Job summary

Artemis Talent Solutions Ltd, Renfrewshire, Scotland, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead Continuous Improvement initiatives across a complex manufacturing operation. You will drive yield, efficiency, quality and cost improvements, using DOE and data-driven methods.

The role involves mentoring a small team, collaborating with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Quality, and supporting new processes and equipment introductions. Strong Lean Six Sigma credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Proven track record of improving yield and efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green Belt).

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Continuous Improvement initiatives across manufacturing.
• Drive improvements in yield, efficiency, quality and cost.
• Analyse data to identify opportunities and justify investments.
• Apply DOE and machine optimisation to improve performance.
• Develop and implement manufacturing best practice.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality teams.
• Support introduction of new processes and equipment.
• Train production teams on improvements.
• Coach, mentor and supervise a small Manufacturing Engineering team.
