Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing in Glasgow is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive efficiency and performance in a fast-paced production environment. You will maintain, develop and optimise processes across existing and new products, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.

You will work with Production, Technical, Engineering and Quality teams to deliver sustainable improvements and operational excellence, through RCA and process design support.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyse process and product performance using statistics.
• Strong problem-solving and RCA experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyse process and product performance through engineering studies and statistics
• Ensure the optimisation and stability of current processes and products
• Carry out Root Cause Analysis activities when problems occur on the production line
• Identify and solve potential problems which could lead to product or equipment failures
• Identify and lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives
• Support the design of new processes and systems for both new and existing products
• Support the instillation and commissioning of new equipment and processes
• Lead, support and develop the production support team

An opportunity to join a proactive and innovative leading Scottish business as a Manufacturing Engineer toplay a key role in driving efficiency and performance across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining, developing and optimising both new and existing processes, this role requires a strong focus on continuous improvement and a proactive, solutions-led mindset.

As part of the Operations Team, you will collaborate closely with Production, Technical, Engineering and Quality Control teams, building strong relationships to deliver sustainable improvements and operational excellence.
