Elastic is seeking a proactive Platform Engineer in the Platform Engineering Productivity team to own CI/CD, release infrastructure, and supply chain security. You will lead multi-quarter initiatives, define the technical vision, and ensure safe, fast deployments across environments.

You’ll work hands-on with Buildkite, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD while guiding others, reviewing code, and improving processes for the whole engineering org.

Qualifikationen

• Deep expertise in CI/CD and hardening release pipelines against supply chain attacks.
• Strong debugging instincts across the full pipeline stack from test runner to artifact store to cluster deployment.
• Hands-on with CI infrastructure and GitOps tools (Buildkite, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and Kubernetes.

Aufgaben

• Define roadmap and technical vision for CI/CD across the org.
• Identify bottlenecks, friction, or security risks and drive remediation.
• Design and enforce scalable release gates for supply chain integrity and readiness.
• Lead engineers on multi-quarter projects and own outcomes.
• Drive clear technical communication and documentation for systems and processes.
• Serve as Incident Commander during high-severity incidents and drive improvements.
• Raise engineering standards via code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship.
• Stay hands-on where needed while enabling others to deliver.
