Hours: full time (2 days and 2 sleep nights in a row, followed by 4‑day break)

Salary: Up to £37,834 (depending on qualification held)*

About the Role

Honeysuckle Cottage is a solo EBD home, providing our young person a safe, caring and structured home environment. As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a key part in the running of the home and the needs of your young person.

Responsibilities

• Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
• Supporting care plans and helping young people achieve their goals
• Leading by example and supporting junior colleagues on shift
• Promoting a safe, clean, and happy home environment
• Encouraging learning, development, and independence in every child
• Keeping records up to date with care and professionalism

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 12 months experience in residential childcare
• Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare, or an accepted equivalent
• Full UK driving licence – essential for transporting young people and attending external meetings
• Calm, resilient, and compassionate approach to care
• Ability to work shift patterns including sleep ins (rota given in advance but likely to be 2‑on, 4‑off)
• Must be able to work in the UK
