Esland Group in Nelson is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker for Ivy Cottage to assist in running a children’s home and supporting a young person’s needs.
You will build trusted relationships, support care plans, and lead by example on shift while ensuring a safe, clean home and promoting learning and independence. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and a UK driving licence are essential.

Salary: Up to £37,834 (depending on qualification held)*
Hours: full time (2 days and 2 sleep nights in a row, following by 4 day break)

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a key part in the running of the home and the needs of your young person.

Estimated salary based on a pay rate of £13.80 to £15.45 per hour for days (depending on qualifications held) and working 8 sleep-nights per month on average (at £60 per sleep night). Rates applicable from April 2026.
