Job summary

Esland is seeking a Senior Childrens Residential Care Worker to join Meadowstile Farm in Stoke-on-Trent. You will provide warm, therapeutic care to young people in a 365-day service, building trusting relationships and supporting their educational and emotional needs.

The role requires a minimum 12 months' experience in a children’s residential home, a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, and a UK driving licence. Salary £35,129–£37,309 per year with sleeps paid and overtime opportunities.

Compensation: £35,129 - £37,309 / year

Description

Salary: £35,129.00 to £37,309.00 per annum. (including sleeps paid at £60 per sleep and an hourly rate of £13.80 to £14.85 per hour depending on qualification). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Hours: 173 hours per month - shift pattern is 1 days on, 2 days off, with sleep ins. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.

Essential requirements for a Senior Children's Home Support Worker:

• A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
• A full driving licence issued in the UK
• Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
• In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
• Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
• Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
