Job summary

Leaders in Care is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a small 2-bed EBD children's home in Wallasey, Wirral. The role requires strong leadership, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance to achieve outstanding outcomes for every child.

You will manage a care team, oversee admissions and care planning, and ensure safe staffing, risk management and effective partnerships with social workers and health professionals.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in children's residential care within the last five years.
• Supervisory or management experience in a care setting.
• Experience as a Registered Manager or senior leader in a children's home.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a residential care team to deliver high-quality care.
• Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, quality standards and Ofsted.
• Maintain safeguarding, risk management, care planning and behaviour support.
• Oversee admissions, placement matching and transitions to meet each child's needs.
• Manage the home’s budget, resources, premises and health and safety.
