Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as Registered Manager in children's residential care.
• Significant experience in residential childcare and leadership.
• Proven track record of strong management and safeguarding oversight.
• Evidence of achieving Good Ofsted outcomes.
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, or willingness to progress.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality care for young people.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 3-bed EBD children's home with clear direction and governance.
• Oversee safe, effective day-to-day running of the home.
• Ensure high-quality, individualised care for children and young people.
• Lead the team to achieve positive outcomes for each young person.
• Provide practical leadership and guidance to residential staff.
• Recruit, support and develop staff to maintain high standards.
• Ensure full compliance with Ofsted standards and regulations.
• Maintain safeguarding, care planning and risk management practices.
• Monitor and improve quality of care across the service.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Promote a positive, child-centred and supportive environment.
• Build strong relationships with young people, families and professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement and service delivery standards.
