Job summary

Compass - Services to Improve Health and Wellbeing is seeking an experienced practitioner focused on improving outcomes for children and young people in North East Derbyshire. You will bring a relevant clinical qualification and at least two years’ therapeutic experience with children and families, with strong risk management and supervision capabilities.

You will lead and coordinate services with education settings and partner agencies, while maintaining a collaborative and reflective practice

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience of therapeutically working with children and young people.
• Experience of risk assessment, risk management and safeguarding.
• Experience of line management and/or clinical supervision, with a postgraduate certificate in supervision or willingness to undertake this.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Collaborative and adaptable approach with children, families, education settings and partner agencies.
• Solution-focused, reflective and resilient approach with commitment to professional development.
• Experience of supervision or management training, a relevant postgraduate or mentorship qualification, CBT-informed supervision, inducting new staff, or working within community or education settings would be welcomed.
