Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is partnering with an award-winning restaurant with rooms in Cumbria to recruit a Senior Chef de Partie. You will join a kitchen producing Michelin-standard cuisine using seasonal produce, under an experienced Head Chef.

Role offers a 4-day working week, service charge and overtime, and ongoing training. You will mentor junior staff, support daily operations and help develop seasonal menus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 3 AA Rosette or Michelin-starred kitchen or readiness to step up.
• Passion for exceptional food and seasonal produce.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn from an experienced team.
• Ambition to progress within an award-winning kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Running your section with confidence and consistency
• Preparing and delivering dishes to Michelin-standard quality
• Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
• Assisting with the development of seasonal menus
• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the brigade
• Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and health & safety
• Taking responsibility for your section and helping ensure smooth service
• Assisting with stock control and minimising waste
