Job summary

Trading Post Coffee Roasters is seeking a Senior Brunch Chef to uphold the highest standards in food quality and presentation in our kitchen. You will collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure smooth daily operations and maximise profit while maintaining top food safety levels.

As a team player, you will be flexible to support in our kitchen areas as needed and contribute to an enjoyable guest experience, aligning with our no-evening-hours policy and coffee-forward hospitality ethos.

• Managing all aspects of a high-volume and fast-paced kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Lead the team to follow the company specification for all food in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Motivate all team members in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Display a smart and professional appearance, always striving to represent Trading Post Coffee Roasters in a positive way.

Trading Post Coffee Roasters is an artisan coffee roasting and hospitality business that, since opening in 2017, has expanded to serve freshly roasted coffee, brunch, and cocktails across Brighton and Sussex.

AsSenior Brunch Chef, you will ensure the quality and presentation of the food served from the Kitchen is of the highest standard at all times. You will work with the Head Chef to ensure a smooth running daily kitchen operation, maintaining and enhancing service to the guests and to maximise profit at all times. You will also work to ensure that all areas of the venue are working to the highest food safety levels at all times.

You will be a team player and where required e flexible and adaptable to support in our kitchen areas as the business needs dictates.
