Job summary

SRVO, a Chartered Surveying and Property Consultancy, is seeking a Senior Chartered Surveyor to operate with senior authority across residential and commercial projects in a hybrid London/South East setting.

As an MRICS professional, you will lead complex instructions, manage deadlines and budgets, mentor APC candidates and junior surveyors, and drive client relationships while delivering technically robust, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualified with 2+ years PQE and strong technical knowledge across construction technology and building pathology.
• Experience administering projects under JCT contracts and leading complex refurbishment and major works.
• A clear, proactive communicator who develops client relationships and mentors junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex residential and commercial instructions from inception to completion.
• Act as Project Manager and Contract Administrator on refurbishments and major works (£50k–£3m+).
• Provide advice on building defects, lifecycle costs and risk management.
• Develop junior surveyors and APC candidates; strengthen team capability.
