Job summary

SRVO is recruiting a Senior Building Surveyor to join a growing team delivering core building surveying, project and compliance services across the UK. The role suits an MRICS-qualified Surveyor (or equivalent) with 2+ years PQE who enjoys variety and can lead projects with autonomy from a remote Midlands/East Midlands/East Anglia basis.

You will work across residential, commercial, industrial and education assets, manage client instructions, mentor junior surveyors and APC candidates, and

Qualifications

• MRICS Chartered status or equivalent
• MRICS Building Surveying degree (minimum 2:2)
• 2+ years PQE or equivalent senior surveying experience
• Strong knowledge of construction technology, building pathology and relevant legislation

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across residential, commercial, industrial and education assets
• Review pre-construction information and RAMS; manage project delivery
• Provide building defects assessments, lifecycle costs and Planned Preventative Maintenance reports
• Mentor APC candidates and junior surveyors, supporting professional development
• Manage client instructions, maintain relationships and deliver high-quality reports within deadlines
