Baily Garner LLP in Liverpool is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our team and deliver a high-quality service across the North West. You will lead surveys, prepare drawings and specifications, and manage contracts with emphasis on planning, regulations, and QA.

The role requires MRICS qualification, 1+ year post-qualification experience, and strong IT skills. Hybrid work, professional development and a broad benefits package are offered.

Competenze

• MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor with an accredited Building Surveying degree.
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in building surveying/design.
• Sound knowledge of building contracts (JCT, NEC, PPC).
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong report writing and tender documentation skills.
• Housing/public sector experience is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Building surveys including defect analysis and remedial works.
• Measured surveys and production of layout and detailed drawings.
• Prepare schedules of works, specifications and tender documentation.
• Advise clients on Planning Permission and Building Regulations.
• Submit statutory applications to Local Authority planning and building control.
• CDM compliance and project document management per QA procedures.
• Assist with tenders and market monitoring for practice improvements.
• Senior staff mentoring and team coordination.
