Job summary

Baily Garner LLP, based in Leeds, is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to lead multi-disciplinary projects in housing, education and public sector works. The role combines site surveys, project leadership and design and build involvement, with potential hybrid working.

You will be Chartered or working towards APC, manage project teams, prepare Employers' Requirements, invite tenders and oversee the full lifecycle from brief to completion.

Qualifications

• RICS accredited Building Surveying degree.
• Chartered status or APC in progress.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary projects.
• Background in housing/residential/existing buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and project teams to successful outcomes.
• Conduct measured surveys of existing buildings.
• Visit sites, perform inspections, and deliver inspection reports.
• Prepare Employer's Requirements for Design and Build.
• Invite tenders for the main contract, analyze tenders, and compile reports.
• Manage full project lifecycle from specifications to schedules of work.
