Job summary

Siemens Mobility Limited is seeking a Senior Certification Engineer to lead end-to-end certification for GSM-R and FRMCS onboard cab radio systems. You will manage the certification lifecycle with NoBo/ApBo, develop compliance documentation, and support the sales team with expert guidance.

You will monitor UK/EU regulatory changes, advise development teams, and contribute to product road maps and user documentation. This role is based in Poole with travel and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Experience with product approvals/certifications and lifecycle management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Knowledge of GSM, 3G/4G/5G, IoT hardware or software engineering is useful.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end certification with Notified Bodies (NoBo) and Approval Bodies (ApBo).
• Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation.
• Monitor UK/EU regulations and advise on impact to products.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Sales and Project teams.
• Contribute to product roadmaps and release documentation.
