Job summary

Fasanara Capital is seeking an experienced Execution Trader to lead hands‑on trading across crypto and TradFi assets. You will sit with the traders, quants and developers and help optimize execution systems and strategies.

You will execute orders across crypto and listed instruments, monitor automated hedges, analyse post‑trade performance and contribute to tool development in a fast‑paced, crypto‑heavy environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on execution or trading experience at a hedge fund, prop firm, or market maker.
• Live crypto trading experience on centralized exchanges including perpetual futures.
• Understanding of market microstructure: order books, queue position, maker/taker fees, funding rates.
• Strong risk discipline and composure under pressure.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for post‑trade analysis.
• Clear and concise communication with PMs, quants, developers and operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute orders across crypto spot, perpetuals, futures and listed assets.
• Run multi‑leg and cross‑asset trades with risk kept small.
• Monitor automated trading bots and step in during outages or breaches.
• Analyze execution quality using TCA metrics and report to PMs.
• Keep venue knowledge up to date on fees, liquidity and rules.
• Collaborate with quants and developers to improve execution tools.
• Write clear specs and test changes.
