Job summary

Fasanara Capital is seeking a High-Frequency Trading Operations Engineer to help keep our trading platform running reliably. You will be the first line of response for issues across our trading infrastructure, working closely with development, quantitative research and trading teams, as well as external exchanges and brokers.

Qualifications

• A strong problem-solving mindset and a calm, methodical approach under pressure.
• Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Curiosity, initiative and an eagerness to learn. No prior experience in trading or financial services is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the trading infrastructure and investigate issues in real time, identifying root causes and driving them to resolution
• Triage incidents and coordinate with development, quantitative research and trading teams so issues are prioritised and resolved efficiently
• Act as the main point of contact with exchanges and brokers on operational matters, including connectivity problems, latency degradation and order rejections
• Track exchange API changes and upgrades, and coordinate their adoption across internal teams
• Support development teams in planning, testing and safely deploying system changes to production
• Use the latest AI tools to improve operational efficiency, automate routine tasks and strengthen platform monitoring
