Job summary

Fasanara Capital (Fasanara) is seeking an experienced execution/trading specialist to join the central team. You will execute orders for portfolio managers and strategies across crypto and traditional assets, optimise execution quality, and collaborate with quants and developers to enhance our trading systems.

You will work closely with traders and developers, manage risk, monitor automated hedging bots, and ensure low market impact across interlinked markets and venues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on execution or trading experience at a hedge fund, prop firm, or market maker.
• Live experience trading crypto on centralised exchanges, including perpetual futures, and at least one TradFi asset class (equities, ETFs, futures).
• Understanding of market microstructure: order books, queue position, maker/taker fees, funding rates, and market impact.

Responsibilities

• Execute orders for portfolio managers and strategies across crypto spot, perpetuals and futures, and listed equities, ETFs and futures.
• Run multi-leg and cross-asset trades, such as crypto basis, funding carry and ETF or equity hedges.
• Monitor automated trading and hedging bots in real time; spot stalled hedges, rejected orders and position-limit breaches.
• Measure execution quality with transaction cost analysis (TCA) and report it to PMs and management.
• Keep venue knowledge current: fees, rebates, liquidity programmes, funding mechanics, listing/delisting events, and exchange rule changes.
• Collaborate with quants and developers to improve execution algos, smart order routing and monitoring tools; write clear specs and test changes.
• Handle incidents calmly: venue outages, connectivity loss, fat-finger risk and sudden volatility.
