Job summary

Turner & Townsend is delivering CDM and H&S consultancy services from our Birmingham office for existing and new clients. The role focuses on understanding client needs and proactively identifying solutions to deliver service excellence across CDM and H&S management.

You will develop systems to improve efficiency, act as Principal Designer when required, and manage client relationships to ensure projects are delivered in line with both client expectations and the firm's management system.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate required.
• NEBOSH Diploma Level or equivalent required.
• GradIOSH or equivalent preferred.
• Membership of APS advantageous.
• Experience as a Principal Designer.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations.
• Ability to plan and organise workload to meet deadlines.
• Experience across diverse construction sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and develop existing CDM/H&S processes to improve efficiency.
• Provide expert advice and act as Principal Designer where required.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
• Represent Turner & Townsend professionally in meetings and correspondence.
• Manage commissions to meet client expectations and company requirements.
• Carry out H&S performance reviews and audits for clients.
• Coordinate with SHQ and Turner & Townsend teams to ensure quality and profitability.
• Prepare pre-construction information and H&S files.
