Job Description

To deliver CDM and H&S consultancy services from our Scotland offices (Glasgow & Edinburgh) to existing and new clients. The scope of services delivered by the role-holder is flexible, dependent upon the client’s requirements, covering both CDM and H&S Management.

The key responsibilities include understanding client needs, proactively identifying solutions, and ensuring consistent service delivery that meets expectations.

Develop existing systems and processes to improve CDM and H&S efficiency, provide expert advice, and act as Principal Designer when required to help clients manage their legal responsibilities in accordance with CDM regulations.

Establish positive relations with clients to build confidence and trust, represent Turner & Townsend professionally, manage commissions effectively, and carry out H&S performance reviews and audits on behalf of clients.

Collaborate with SHQ and wider colleagues to contribute to team effectiveness, support others, and ensure quality and profitability of projects. Compile relevant pre-construction information and H&S files.

• Extensive knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry, specifically around the CDM Regulations (Essential)

• Experience as a Principal Designer is advantageous (Essential)

Education and Professional Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (Essential)
• GradIOSH or equivalent (Desired)
• Membership of the APS (Desired)
