The Vacancy

Join our growing team and help us make a difference!

We’re expanding our External Contracts & Delivery team and are looking for a talented Programme Surveyor to help us invest in people and places for a sustainable future.

This role involves overseeing fire risk management, coordinating investment projects, and addressing related issues across your designated locality. You will play a key role in maintaining housing stock and improving customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Experience in housing or construction industry
• Knowledge of Building safety regulations, including CDM, asbestos management, site safety, and fire safety (fire risk actions and Stay Put Policy)
• Understanding of construction to support property-related activities
• Relevant technical qualification in construction or building services (e.g., HNC/HND in building studies or equivalent)
• Experience with customer consultation in maintenance or construction settings
• Knowledge of building construction, maintenance, contracts, and procurement
• Strong management skills and experience managing project teams, contractors, and liaising with professionals to deliver maintenance programs

Additional Information

This role is home-based, but a full UK driving license and ability to travel across Worcestershire, Herefordshire, and Gloucestershire are essential. Business mileage is reimbursed as per HMRC rates. Please see the attached map for locality areas.
