Job summary

Black & Veatch is hiring a Senior CDM Consultant/Principal Designer to support UK & Ireland projects from London or Glasgow offices, with travel to sites three times a month. The role combines CDM leadership with design coordination, ensuring compliance and safe delivery across projects.

You will work closely with clients and internal teams, reporting to the Engineering and CDM Compliance Lead EMEA, and contribute to health and safety programs, including CDM 2015 requirements.

Qualifications

• CDM 2015 knowledge and UK/Ireland safety legislation.
• Experience delivering Principal Designer and CDM Advisor roles on large energy or industrial projects.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CDM Principal Designers and Designers roles are fulfilled per CDM 2015.
• Fulfill PSDP duties and provide CDM-Advisor support as needed.
• Coordinate with Clients and Designers to manage planning, design, and safety.
• Plan and monitor health and safety in the pre-construction phase.
• Assist client with pre-construction information for design and construction teams.
