Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Principal Designer and CDM Advisor to lead health, safety and CDM across major infrastructure and energy projects in the UK. You will influence design decisions, manage risks, and support teams while ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 and best practices.

You will work with clients, design teams and stakeholders in a hybrid environment, driving a proactive safety culture and delivering complex projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering, construction, health and safety with CDM 2015 knowledge.
Chartered status and NEBOSH qualification advantageous.
Experience in consultancy or projects in built environment with client relationships.

Responsibilities

Provide expert health, safety and CDM leadership across the project lifecycle.
Advise on design risk management and coordinate safety considerations.
Mentor juniors and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
