Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking a Principal Designer and CDM Advisor to lead CDM 2015 compliance and design coordination across UK&I projects.

You will act as CDM advisor to clients, oversee design and construction processes, and mentor junior team members while ensuring adherence to legislation. The role offers flexible working arrangements within a collaborative, growth-focused environment. This position supports sustainability goals and the delivery of complex projects across sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in construction, health and safety, or engineering.
• Chartered status (preferred) and health and safety qualifications such as NEBOSH.
• Experience in a consultancy environment with coaching and mentoring juniors.

Responsibilities

• Act as CDM Advisor to support clients.
• Maintain a deep understanding of design and construction processes.
• Communicate effectively and ensure compliance with CDM and other legislation.
