Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a skilled catering operations manager to lead contract catering services for our site and events. You will oversee staff, ensure compliance with client needs, and manage menus, budgets, and supplier relations.

Ideal candidates will have Level 3 Catering & Hospitality, proven leadership, strong budgeting, and customer service skills in fast-paced environments. Right to Work in the UK is required, with MS Office proficiency including Excel.

• Food hygiene Level 3 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to create seasonal food and drink menus for the site and any events for the client and its visitors
• Oversee all staff, ensuring that the team’s creations meet the client’s needs and that all legal and company requirements are met daily
• Train team members on menus, serving procedures, company etiquette, safety standards, and regulations
• Recruit new staff to meet workload demands
• Work within budgets set by line manager when planning catering operations, allocating budget for food, equipment, staffing and equipment
• Establish relationships with vendors and ensure best prices from approved suppliers
