Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Catering Operations Manager to lead contract catering for the site and events, overseeing staff, menus, safety, and service standards. You will manage budgets, recruit and train the team, build client relationships, and ensure compliance with all regulations.

A Level 3 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent is required, with proven leadership in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

Proven leadership in contract catering operations and teams.
Level 3 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to train and mentor staff.
Strong budgeting, cost control and financial management abilities.
Excellent communication, both verbal and written, with clients and team.

Responsibilities

Create seasonal food and drink menus for site and events.
Oversee staff to ensure menus meet client needs and comply with legal requirements.
Train team on menus, serving procedures, etiquette, safety standards, and regulations.
Recruit new staff to meet workload demands.
Manage budgets for food, equipment, staffing and operations.
Establish vendor relationships to ensure best prices and quality.
