Searcys invites a Deputy Head of Catering to lead a high-profile catering team at the Inner Temple, driving events from halls to Pegasus Restaurant with a hands-on, strategic focus.

You will oversee guest experiences, food quality, and service excellence, while developing growth strategies and maintaining strong governance relationships within an historic institution. A passion for hospitality and a proven leadership track are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management or leadership experience in hospitality/events.
• Senior management experience in hospitality and events.
• Proven ability to manage a profitable P&L.
• Track record of achieving sales and performance targets.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Passion for food, hospitality and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, develop and implement growth strategies within catering operations.
• Contribute to marketing strategies and recruitment/training activities.
• Oversee food quality and ensure presence within service and events.
• Maintain strong relationships with the Inn’s governing body and membership.
• Ensure guest expectations are understood and managed.
• Uphold the company legacy and brand in front-of-house presence and leadership.
• Develop budgets, monitor costs and improve profitability.
• Identify opportunities with greatest ROI aligned with brand goals.
• Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
