Job summary

BaxterStorey UK is hiring a Floor Manager to lead hospitality operations across our catering sites in Southampton. You will manage a team, oversee service standards, and drive KPIs while delivering exceptional customer experiences throughout every shift.

Qualifications

• Motivate and lead a team to deliver hospitality standards.
• Demonstrate passion for food & service with attention to detail.
• Provide professional catering service maintaining company standards.
• Experience commensurate with the role.
• Deliver excellent customer experiences and lead by example.
• Show analytical approach to solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth running of all retail spaces including restaurant and coffee outlets.
• Manage direct reports to meet day-to-day operation standards.
• Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly service and marketing reports.
• Set goals, delegate tasks and organize workload.
• Assess staff performance to identify training needs.
• Control costs and work toward budgets and financial targets.
• Ensure Health & Safety and other compliance in departments.
• Drive product innovation and sustainability initiatives.
• Develop annual marketing plans with outlets and ensure signage is correct.
• Maintain excellent customer service and monitor customer experience.
• Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly with action plans.
• Create training plans for department heads and ensure training completion.
