Job summary

ASOS is seeking a Senior Category Manager for Supply Chain to own the strategy, sourcing and performance across last mile, air, sea, warehousing and automation. You will build cost models, benchmark rates and drive commercial excellence with cross-functional partners.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will work across global teams, track market trends, manage SLAs and KPIs, and champion sustainability.

Qualifications

• Category management of courier/last mile with exposure to air/sea/warehousing/automation.
• Commercial strength in negotiation, cost modelling and contract optimisation.
• Data fluency with dashboards and financial models to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end category management — Own strategy, sourcing and performance of last mile, air, sea, warehousing, and automation.
• Cost optimisation — Build cost models and identify savings across delivery, freight, fulfilment, and automation solutions.
• Market intelligence — Track global trends in parcel delivery, freight markets, warehouse tech, and automation.
• Supplier performance — Develop SLA/KPI/QBRs with courier, freight, and warehousing partners.
• Cross-functional collaboration — Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Tech and Sustainability.
• Risk management — Assess and mitigate risks across courier networks and freight lanes.
• Sustainability alignment — Promote lower-impact alternatives across delivery and warehousing.
• Innovation scouting — Identify technologies in delivery and automation for viability.
• Data-driven decisions — Use analytics and forecasting to guide sourcing and network design.
• Stakeholder communication — Present strategies and insights to senior leadership.
