Job summary

The Emerald Group in London is seeking a catastrophe pricing analyst to manage pricing analysis, data accuracy, and exposure reporting. You will support underwriting, actuarial, and regulatory processes within a London market context.

Responsibilities include data reporting for retro reinsurance, automating portfolio rollups, and leveraging RMS Risklink for treaty modelling. A numerate degree is preferred to join this team.

Qualifications

• Experience in catastrophe pricing analysis, both in-house and via external analytics.
• Ensure data accuracy and complete data reporting for exposures.
• Understand underwriting, actuarial and regulatory processes and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day catastrophe pricing analysis performed both in-house and through Moody’s analytics
• Reporting of accurate and complete data for retro reinsurance placements
• Lead initiatives to automate portfolio rollups and streamline exposure management processes
• A degree in physical science or a numerate subject is desired
• Excellent working knowledge of the London (re)insurance market and International property treaty business
• Proficient user of RMS Risklink and modelling of treaty accounts
