Job summary

Qatar Airways Cargo is seeking a Senior Cargo Operations Agent to join our London office. You will provide cargo operations and customer service support for import and export, liaise with local ground handlers, and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in air cargo, understands cargo reservations and related regulations, and is computer literate with strong English language skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant college/university qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience on the job.
• Understanding of Air Cargo Operations and Cargo Reservations.
• Knowledge of IATA/TACT and Dangerous Goods Regulations.
• Computer literate and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cargo Operations and Customer Service support for Import and ExportCargo.
• Coordinate with Local Ground Handling Agents and Head Office Cargo Department.
• Supervise a functional area at the station affecting operations.
• Ensure safety, security, regulatory compliance and high-quality service.
• Represent Qatar Airways in dealings with external service providers.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting services and operations.
• Report hazards and incidents related to cargo operations.
• Assist in managing disruptions or emergencies in cargo operations.
