Job summary

Belong is seeking Team Senior Carers for Belong Birkdale in the new village. You will support older people to live independently, deliver person-centred care, and work as part of a warm household team.

You will lead by example, deliver personal care, manage medications, assist with meals, maintain care plans, and deputise for the Team Leader when needed. A caring, committed approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification (or above) in Health and Social Care.
• Experience supporting older people, particularly in dementia care.
• Experience administering and recording medication accurately.
• Experience updating care plans and resident records.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Ability to commute to Birkdale and surrounding areas.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including 8:00am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–10:00pm, occasional long days and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality personal care.
• Administering and managing medication.
• Supporting customers living with dementia.
• Preparing and cooking meals within the household.
• Maintaining and updating care plans and daily records.
• Deputising for the Team Leader when required.
• Promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all customers.
