Farrington Care Homes Ltd is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant for our residential home - Wainford House in Beccles. The role focuses on delivering high-quality elderly and dementia care with a patient-centred approach.

We value experience in care homes, strong teamwork, and excellent communication. The position is full-time and permanent with a £12.50 per hour rate, based in Beccles NR34 9AN and requires reliable commuting.

Job Description

Looking for a motivated, high energy individual to work as a Senior Care Assistant in our Residential Home - Wainford House.

Key responsibilities of a Care Assistant:

Ensure that a high standard of care is delivered to residents by recognizing and facilitating their daily needs.

Administer medicines as required in accordance with policies and procedures.

Promote and encourage all staff to provide residents with privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfillment.

Adhere to the company policies and procedures.

Assist in building relationships between staff and residents.

Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and inquiries.

Skills and experience

Previous experience working within an elderly care home environment.

Qualifications

Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable but an opportunity to undertake this will be available.
