Job summary

Beacon House is recruiting an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Beacon House, a 29-bed residential care home. You will provide person-centred care, supporting residents to maintain dignity, independence and respect within a warm, welcoming environment.

We offer shift meals, pension, annual leave, funded training and career progression opportunities. A great team supports you, with dedicated support from your manager and leadership group. Sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in a care home.
• Experience administering medications (eMAR/system preferred).
• Experience completing and reviewing care plans.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Level 3 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care to residents.
• Lead and support the care team on shifts.
• Administer medications as required.
• Contribute to care plan reviews and updates.
• Cover occasional night shifts when required.

We're looking for someone who has:

• A minimum of 12 months' experience working in a care home.
• Experience administering medication (experience using an electronic medication system is preferred).
• Experience completing and reviewing care plans.
• The confidence and ability to lead and support a care team.
• A minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Level 3 is preferred).
• Flexibility to work every other weekend.
• The ability to cover occasional night shifts when required.
