Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Bank Senior Carer for a residential care home in Copthorne. You will lead a care team, supervise shifts, and support with medication administration while ensuring dignity and personalised care for residents.

We require NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma, prior residential care experience, and a compassionate approach. Roles are on a bank basis with varying hours and shifts; full training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Previous residential care experience with proven team leadership skills.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to individualized resident care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff on shift.
• Assist with administering and ordering medication.
• Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
• Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and resident families.
• Provide warm, person-centred care and support.
