Job summary

Quantum Care is a no‑profit organisation delivering compassionate care to over 2,000 older people across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex. The role involves leading a designated unit, reviewing care plans, and delivering personal care with a focus on dignity and wellbeing.

Applicants should hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, with Level 3 or progression toward it desirable. An Enhanced DBS check is required, and training is provided from day one.

Qualifications

• Has a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Desirable Level 3 Diploma or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience delivering person-centered care to older residents in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Take a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Review and update individual care plans.
• Provide personal care to residents.
• Administer medications and support social activities on each shift.
• DBS check completed or in process when required.
