Job summary

Sanctuary Group, operating Sanctuary Care at Lammas House Residential Care Home in Coventry, seeks a Senior Care Team Leader. The role is 40 hours per week, temporary for six months, with a pay rate of £16.84 per hour.

You will lead a care team, support residents, and oversee daily care plans and medication administration. We are an Investors in People Gold accredited, not-for-profit organisation offering development and flexible working options, with strong training and career progression

Qualifications

• Experience in care leadership roles is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to organise rotas and oversee medication administration.
• Commitment to dignity, respect and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Support the wellbeing of residents and help them feel at home
• Work together as a team to enrich residents' lives and support colleagues
• Deliver personalised care in line with individual care plans
• Make leisure and social activities part of every day
• Guide and encourage Care Assistants in their development
• Manage the home’s rotas and ensure efficient operation and safe medication administration
• Demonstrate flexibility and effective communication with safeguarding and pre-employment checks
