Job summary

Sanctuary Care Limited is seeking a Senior Care Team Leader for Lammas House Residential Care Home in Coventry. The role focuses on leading care delivery, supporting residents, and coordinating staff to maintain high standards of service.

You will supervise carers, ensure care plans are followed, and manage rotas while prioritising resident wellbeing and safety. The position is temporary for 6 months, with hourly pay and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in care (NVQ3/SVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent is desirable).
• Ability to communicate clearly and work flexibly.
• Have experience of dealing with pre admission assessments and proven experience of managing people and rota management.

Responsibilities

• Support the wellbeing of residents and help them feel at home.
• Work together as a team to enrich residents’ lives and support colleagues.
• Deliver personalised care in line with individual care plans.
• Make leisure and social activities part of every day.
• Guide and encourage Care Assistants in their development.
• Manage the homes rotas appropriately to ensure the home is operating efficiently, as well as being responsible for the safe administration of medication.
