Job summary

Autism Anglia is seeking a Care Team Leader at Ashton House, Peldon Campus, Colchester to lead a dedicated team and deliver a safe, person-centred service for autistic adults and individuals with learning disabilities.

You will support people in activities, promote holistic development, and ensure effective medication management and safeguarding. The role requires supervisory experience, a Level 3 Diploma, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role or as Team Leader.
• Health in Social Care Level 3 Diploma (or working towards).
• Full UK clean manual driving licence.
• Experience with autism or learning disabilities.
• Ability to lead a team and deliver person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Run and ensure delivery of a high-quality, safe, person-centred service.
• Support individuals in activities including sport, leisure and events.
• Promote holistic development of individuals by addressing various needs.
• Act as key worker and maintain regular communication with management.
• Model proactive approach and manage staff performance expectations.
• Manage medication receipt, storage, administration and record-keeping.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and address concerns promptly.
